Quick Fudge Frosting


Ingredients

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • Dash salt
  • ½ to ¾ cup confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix sugar and cocoa in saucepan.
  2. Add butter, milk, corn syrup and salt; heat to boiling, stirring frequently.
  3. Boil vigorously 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Cool.
  5. Beat in confectioners’ sugar and vanilla.
