Peanut Butter Broiled Topping


  • ¼ cup soft butter or margarine
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup peanuts, finely chopped


  1. Mix thoroughly butter, sugar, milk and peanut butter; stir in peanuts.
  2. Spread mixture evenly on warm 13x9-inch cake.
  3. Set oven control at broil and/or 550 degrees.
  4. Place cake 5 inches from heat; broil about 3 minutes or until topping bubbles and browns slightly. (Watch carefully - mixture burns easily.)

Frosts a 13x9-inch cake.
