Matt’s French Onion Soup


Ingredients

  • 6 white onions
  • 6 cups water
  • 6 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 6 beef bouillon cubes
  • ¼ cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Pepper
  • Seasoned croutons
  • Provolone cheese

Directions

  1. Sauté onions until clear.
  2. Heat water, bouillon, wine and Worcestershire sauce; add pepper to taste.
  3. Add onions to mix and simmer for 2-3 hours.
  4. Top bowl of soup with croutons and Provolone cheese.
