Lemon Swirl


Ingredients

  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup soft butter or margarine
  • 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • About 3 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

  1. Beat all ingredients until frosting is fluffy and of spreading consistency.
  2. If necessary, stir in additional lemon juice, 1 teaspoon at a time.

Fills and frosts two 8- or 9-inch layers or frosts a 13x9-inch cake.
