Grasshopper Pie


Ingredients

  • Chocolate Cookie Crust
  • 32 large marshmallows or 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup green creme de mennthe
  • 3 tablespoons white creme de cacao
  • 1½ cups chilled whipping cream
  • Few drops green food color, if desired

Directions

  1. Prepare crust.
  2. Heat marshmallows and milk over medium heat, stirring constantly, just until marshmallows melt.
  3. Chill until thickened; blend in liqueurs.
  4. In chilled bowl, beat cream until stiff.
  5. Fold marshmallow mixture into whipped cream; fold in food color.
  6. Pour into crust.
  7. If desired, sprinkle with grated semisweet chocolate.
  8. Chill at least 3 hours or until set.
