Creamy Potato Soup


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • ¼ teaspoon celery salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper
  • 3½ cups milk
  • 1⅓ cups instant mashed potato puffs (dry)

Directions

  1. Heat butter, onion, salt, celery salt, pepper and milk to scalding.
  2. Stir in potato puffs; continue cooking until smooth, stirring constantly. (Soup should be consistency of heavy cream.)
  3. If desired, garnish each serving with paprika and parsley.
