Ingredients
- ½ cup butter or margarine
- ½ cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 cups buttermilk baking mix
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅔ cup light cream (20%)
- 1 egg
- 36 pecan halves
Directions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- In each of 12 medium muffin cups (2¾ inches in diameter), place 2 teaspoons each butter and brown sugar.
- Place in oven to melt.
- Mix remaining ingredients except pecan halves; beat vigorously ½ minute.
- Remove muffin cups from oven; place 3 pecan halves on butter-sugar mixture in each muffin cup.
- Divide batter evenly among muffin cups (cups should be about ½ full).
- Bake about 15 minutes.
- Immediately invert pan and gently remove buns to prevent sticking.
