Locate DCOM: Machine Access Restrictions and DCOM: Machine Launch Restrictions. Ensure that the appropriate users/groups have access. Domain Admins, Administrators, or a specific admin user.
2. Firewall port ¶

Create a new inbound rule for WMI. Choose Predefined. Select Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), and follow the prompts to finish.
3. WMI Service ¶

Set Windows Management Instrumentation to Automatic.
4. Optional User Rights Assignment ¶
Computer Configuration/Policies/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Local Policies/User Rights Assignment
Add the necessary user or group to the Access this computer from the network policy.
